CARE for Europe is part of a network of CARE public policy offices:

Since 1992, CARE for Europe has contacted Members of the European Parliament with information briefings in areas such as:

Protection of minors and human dignity in audiovisual services
Legislation to protect against violent videos
 Employment Directives
 Biotechnological patents
 Reproductive Health/Sex Education Strategies
Genetic Engineering, Human Cloning and New Medical Technologies
 Palliative and hospice care

The latter resulted in the European Parliament setting aside new EU funds for exchange of information between groups involved in palliative and hospice care across Western and Eastern Europe. These are encouraging work in pain relief and complete care, so that terminally ill patients may die at home or in hospices with real dignity.
